Hi!
Hannah Sayward is based in Englewood, Colorado and is available for worldwide travel. She grew up singing, dancing, and acting and is now a professional mermaid, princess, and stilt-walker.
After studying at AMDA in Los Angeles and graduating from the Metropolitan State University of Denver with a BFA in Musical Theatre, she moved to Orlando to work and perform at Walt Disney World.
New York was next, and she spent several years working and performing around NYC and Long Island including as a swimming mermaid at the Long Island Aquarium.
Her favorite theatre roles include Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Polly in Crazy for You, Olive in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Mariane in Tartuffe, Annabel in Lucky Stiff, and Annette in Saturday Night Fever.
She adores children and her extensive work with them includes performance as a princess and mermaid at kid's parties and events, transforming young guests into princesses and knights as a Fairy Godmother in Training at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Cinderella Castle, a touring show in Colorado educating children about health, and teaching chess on Long Island.
Act of Whimsy
Hannah began Act of Whimsy in 2021 as a way to share her favorite things with the world! Her belief is that kindness (to oneself and others) changes the world. She spreads kindness by making lives magical, whether by surprising them with real mermaid sighting, getting a hug from their favorite princess, hearing silly puns from a stilt-walker, or just receiving an encouraging smile.
